About Prairie Grass Cafe
Prairie Grass Cafe creates seasonal, locally and sustainably-driven American fare, utilizing the chefs' many years of experience to produce delicious and approachable cuisine.
Chefs Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris opened Prairie Grass Cafe in 2004. Previously they were chefs at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. Chef Stegner is also a founding member of Green City Market as well as The Abundance Setting, which provides resources for working mothers in the hospitality industry.
