This season is off to a great start! We have Pomegranates, Sweet Potatoes, Navel Oranges, and Cranberries.

Pomegranates are one of the oldest fruits around. I’m talking like 7,000 years ago! Pomegranates are delicious in salads or by themselves.

Sweet Potatoes are incredibly rich in beta-carotene, which is converted to vitamin A to support good vision and your immune system. Did you know they are ranked number one in nutrition of all vegetables?

A Navel Orange is seedless and is aesthetically a much darker orange color than the summer Valencia oranges. The California Navel Season also brings Cara Cara Oranges. Originally discovered in 1976 in Cara Cara, Venezuela, they are a fan favorite!

Without Cranberries, Thanksgiving wouldn't feel the same. Cranberries are native to North America. Quick tip: try them in a salad with our heirloom apples. Simply dice the cranberries, toss them in sugar and let them sit overnight. Add them to the salad with the apples as fresh topper.

Until next time
