Spring has sprung with more seasonal vegetables.

Ramps is a wild onion that grows in the northern regions of North America. They have a rich, earthy onion flavor that is great sautéed, in sauces or in soups. Store them in a plastic bag to lock in the moisture.

Spring Morel mushrooms are here.  These mushrooms are used in a lot of meat & seafood dishes. They taste light, earthy and delicious. Store them in a glass bowl with a damp paper towel on top so they don’t dry out.

Fiddlehead Ferns are these cute little green things that look and taste a lot like asparagus.  Sautée them alone and have them as your dinner vegetable. These are great to pair with Beef, Pork and Chicken. Store them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator to keep them crisp.

Fresh Midwest; Foods you crave, Restaurants you love.

See you soon!
