Scheeringa Farms has been a partner with us for a number of years. Their 3rd generation family farm from Highland, Indiana was started in 1940! August is tomato season and Scheeringa has some of the best heirlooms around. It doesn't get any more local than this. Brandywine, Purple Cherokees, Yellow Marbles and Red Beef Steak are a few varieties of what they grow. Store them at room temp., these tomatoes are already ripe.
